Section 3a: Misc.[/B]
---------------------

1. If the raid leader was to wrongfully chew you out in the middle of a raid, how would you react? (be honest and explain!)

I'd probably just stay calm and let it go.

2. If you were asked to sit out for a raid that you signed up for well in advance, how would you react? (be honest and explain!)

Wouldn't be a problem

Section 3b: Misc.
---------------------

1. What two web sites do you visit the most for WoW information?

mmo-champion.com

elitistjerks.com

2. If you lost both your hands in an accident and the doctors said, 'Well, we can leave them as stumps or we could attach the hands of a monkey', what would you do?

of course monkey hands.....better than no hands

3. Your best friend of the opposite sex is dying of a degenerative bone disease. One day he/she tells you it's their dying wish to have sex with you. You agree but after a few minutes he/she coughs, sputters and dies. Do you finish?

I'd use the blood that she coughed up as lubricant and keep pounding that bloody, dead pussy with the aim of busting inside her and creating a zombie child 9 months later.

just kidding, I'd probably stop.

4. Why are you actively searching a new guild? What expectations do you have?

I have a lot of free time atm and I'd like to start playing my druid more so apping here was a natural choice.

I expect to have fun raiding with you all and maybe one day get that cool staff that turns me into a fire kitteh ^_^

5. How long have you been playing WoW and how many guilds have you been a member of?

I've only been playing WoW since 2009 but I have been a member of about 8 guilds, 5 of which were raiding guilds.

6. What is your longest tenure in any one guild?

4-6 Months

6b. Was this a raiding guild?

Yes

7. How active do you plan on being on the forums during and after your recruitment period?

Multiple times during the day

8. What previous raiding experience do you have?

I have no real raiding experience on this druid other than some alt runs with TFB members.

My raiding experience on my warrior is as follows:

WOTLK - I have cleared just about all wotlk content pre cata including H LK 10 and 25.

Cata raiding exp - 12/12 normals & 9/13 H including Blackwing's Bane and H: Al'akir

Firelands: 7/7 normal

9. What can we expect from you in our raids?

You can expect someone who will always try his hardest to be the best he can be at whatever he does.

When you only raid two nights a week you can't afford to slack off, I raid to get shit done....no bullshitting around (however some humor and fun during the raid is always nice)

I'm open to any criticism that comes my way and I'm generally a pretty calm and down to earth guy. I keep a steady mind through wipes and I have a progression raider mentality....I don't give up easily.

I'm always prepared with food/flask/potions and I always read up on fights/watch videos.

If I don't know something I'm not afraid to ask---I'd rather embarrass myself with a "dumb" question than wipe the raid because I didn't know something.

10. Despite our 2 day raid schedule, and having an application that tests your humor, we can be very serious and your DPS/HPS, reflexes, and raid attendance can and will be heavily critiqued by the raid leader. Can you handle this kind of criticism?

Yes

11. What do you feel are the most important aspects of your class/spec? What do you bring to the raid, and how do you maximize it?

100% health battle rez anyone? anytime I see a druid brez someone with 20% health it makes me cringe.

30% bleed buff which is one of the more rare buffs in raid these days considering it's only brought by arms warriors, sub rogues and a hyena pet that most hunters don't have or refuse to use anyway.

sunderx3 in one GCD

dash/stampeding roar - good utility for certain encounters

"oh shit" tank -- pop bear form and surv instincts/ frenzied regen

innervate (lol feral innervate)

tranquility to help heals

at the moment (4.2) the feral stat priority is a little jumbled.....as far as I know once I get 2pc t12 haste becomes my best secondary stat but until then mastery still reigns supreme.

Expertise and Hit are now newly viable for feral since 4.2 shifted the focus away from bleed damage and more to direct damage.

However, I don't believe expertise and hit *NEED* to be capped, several top feral druids are all doing different things as far as gearing/reforging go. I think more theorycrafting has to be done before there can be a *definite* answer concerning feral stat priority...and until then it's just personal preference.

12. If there's anything you want to add, either a self bio, information about friends who may join, or if you simply want us to know something not asked, this is the time to let us know.

I know this is an alt and a lot of you may think "Oh does this guy think he's too good for us? applying on his alt? who does he think he is?"

Well it's not like that at all, this is my only alliance character and I like the environment that TFB has and I want to be more involved via raiding. Also, I heard you don't have any feral DPS :P

Something else about me....I treat all my alts like "second mains" in that I put just as much effort into them as i do my main.

The main reason I have herbalism as a profession is that 'm poor.

I believe serious raiders should not have gathering professions if it can be avoided so if you need me to change I can.

Thanks for taking the time to read my app.

13. TFB has no guarantee that server transfers will automatically be accepted into the guild. Failure to perform at our level, or failure to attend raids reliably during the recruitment period can and will result in denial. Do you accept this risk?

14. [Transfers] In our experience, the players who come from other realms are the ones soonest to transfer again unexpectedly in the middle of a tier. You are the one spending the money to server transfer, make sure it's a wise investment. Yes?

We are unfortunately full up on melee DPS right now, but should you apply as a boomkin, the story changes entirely. We have only one sPriest and zero boomkins, and one elemental shaman, so we're looking to bolster not only our ranged DPS ranks, but ESPECIALLY our 5% haste buff givers JIC they both can't make the same raid. Are you interested in re-gearing out for boomkin? As much as that may sound like a question, it's really the only option here. We just don't have anymore room for melee DPS at the current time unless some of our rogues or warriors burn out or repeatedly miss raids. Also, are you SURE you want to raid 7-11 PM EST and then 11 PM - 3 AM on your Mondays and Wednesdays? That sounds like quite a night, but far be it from me to judge how people use their free time. Just be sure you've got the stamina to really do that on a weekly basis.

Although I was really looking forward to playing kitty, I guess I could be boomkin :P

and yeah I can manage the 8 hour raid block, I don't raid on Tuesdays so it balances it out...sort of :/

logged out in boomkin gear/spec

Spent some time rethinking about this app last night (that's what us nerd raid leaders so when we lie in bed), and I think we might be able to get away with one more mDPS simply because, of the 6 we have, one of them is either chain DCing or making some silly family reunion and has to miss the raid. IMHO, your very best option to be a long time raider for us would be to be versatile, and keep both your boomkin and feral spec up to par and whenever we can afford you as cat (When one of them misses the raid), you'll be cat, but when all 6 of them are there, you be boomkin. When one of them inevitably burns out or incurs the wrath of the angry raid leader and I boot their ass out (which is definitely on the table for one or two of them), you can remain kitty permanently.

There's a really good chance you'll be needed tonight. Please be on and ready to go.

Sorry if I logged off before you were done, it was announced as the last attempt....although we did get pretty far (22%)

It's just difficult balancing two raids on the same night and I don't want to piss either guild off....

when I go past 11 pm I end up getting a lot shit from a lot of people.

I had a bit of trouble adjusting to the way you guys handle the molten seeds but I got my shit together in the end...and I definitely think Rag will go down this week.

I apologize for any inconveniences I may have caused -_-

How exactly did you guys handle them in 10 man? Just curious.

after the first son of flame phase, we all run to the left side of the room and slightly spread out (6 yds).....and when seeds spawn we just move to the right side of the room. After killing elementals on the right side we spread out 6 yds and when seeds come we all run to the left side of the room again.

Just back and forth until 40%, allows melee to keep dpsing because stacking in the middle puts them out of range....and also A LOT easier to avoid sulfuras smash.

smash is always targetted to a player. moving to the sides wouldn't make it easier to avoid, it's just a lot easier to see because you only have 10 players and 8 adds, instead of 25 players and 20 adds.

Edit: Also, using only one side of the room at any one time is not enough room for 25 players to properly spread out, especially when at any given moment, a third of that room is cut out by that inferno ability.
