While the purpleness of your gear is a refreshing change from some apps, I'm a little concerned of your stat priority. It seems you favor gear with crit / mastery over that of haste

Going to echo Eagle on this one. We have very little need for ranged DPS at this time. We only just recently filled that need. We are in much greater need of competent healers. We could probably work with either your Priest, or even if you wanted to respec your Druid resto, we could probably make that work.

Most of the pieces with crit I have reforged to haste/spirit. Although as it played out in my previous guild, I took the first epic weapon that dropped and was below everyone on DKP for weapons that followed. I tried many times for Magmaws weapon but was outbid, and was first in line for Cho'gall's, though 5% seemed to be the best we could do week after week. To the subject of raiding on the priest, I lol'd hard when I read it. I was at Bdubz with Medz/Brilly yesterday talking about how I wish I could raid on it because i prefer it. As it plays out though the boomkin is considerably more...purple. The priest just hit 85 last week but I feel he can handle raiding with solid group. A few purples and the rest is NEARLY 346, currently running every heroic which has upgrades for me. His name is Metabolism, I will provide an armory link. That being said if you have any current Holy priests I would love some advice on my third major glyph as I am currently using Mass Dispel but some have told me Dispel Magic is better. I also have questions about speccing into State of Mind with the changes in 4.0.6. I will continue my effort to quickly replace my current Trinkets/Rings. Well, here is to hoping they don't nerf priests anytime soon. With Metabolism we have 4 healing priests, but at this point I'm just covering our asses so we can actually raid.

I am not going to beat around the bush and I am not known for being subtle with my thoughts. You are a friend of Medz, an applicant I am not thrilled at in the least. In my experience, birds of a feather flock together (a retardedly outdated and corny saying, but it has served me well after 5 years of Raid leading in World of Warcraft.) Try not to disappoint so frequently as the more recent applications have been. You have been alerted we need healers, so there is no excuse that you are unsure about our need. Our raid nights are Wednesday and Monday. You need gear, and obviously I will be light in judgement of you based on the healing meters, but keep in mind that our logs are still available from when Cataclysm raiding began in December so we know what holy or disc priests in mostly blue gear should be at in terms of HP/S and healing done.

Just to update, I got a new ring and trinket today already both 346. On the note of 4 holy priests, I do have my druid which can be reforged regemmed into a resto druid. I also have an 85 resto shaman as well, though he is in pvp/leveling gear. Whatever is needed of me when the time comes.

This is my sentiment as well. Right now, I want a healer who won't fucking burn out or have a melt down in a few months. We can easily take you to boss fights where we normally 6 heal and have you suck up loot like a hoover vacuum. If we have 4 priests healing, it's far from a liability.

I currently do not have the enchants for helm and shoulder, although I do have my hyjal tabard and I've been grinding rep to get the enchant, and I plan on starting quests for Therazane this weekend as I have work for the next 4 nights and little time to play.

I'm going to nit pick a little at your spec. You don't have lightwell in your holy spec and you're glyphing power word shield. I suggest respeccing and grabbing Lightwell and using the Lightwell glyph. For raid healing you won't find much need for Surge of Light so dump those 2 points and pick up desperate prayer along with lightwell. You'll soon learn desperate prayer is your friend and its free to cast. You won't find yourself shielding much if any unless you want to run faster with 2 disc priests in the raid.

Although I haven't been around, I've been keeping track of the WoL. Both you and Oveliah were present for our two latest boss kills (Heroic Chim, Al'Akir). That alone speaks volumes about the two of you and in all likelihood we are going to move both of your applications to the accepted category after one or two more raids, tops. I need to review you and Oveliah's relative gear level to our healers to determine if the slightly lower HP/S and Healing done is gear/experience related or if what you two are putting out now is the best we can expect. We always try and keep recruitment open at least a little bit to let in exceptional players, and while you impressed me on Chimaeron with your minimal group deaths, and Oveliah impresses me the tasks I assign her as well, the two of your healing done and HP/S are noticably lower than that of, say, Stallions or Adelka/Demyx.

It probably is nothing more than a gear difference or level of experience difference, and while we will probably accept the both of you very soon, we expect the healing meters to be at least a little more competitive as the gear and experience gaps begin to close.
